Cake and Conversation

If English is a language you are learning, we may have some more good news for you! There is a new group starting at St George’s centre in Lupset.

Tuesdays from 9.30 to 10.30am

You will be welcome at st George’s Community Centre, on Broadway, in Lupset. Find it using the postcode WF2 8AA.

You will find a friendly group who are happy to help you practise your English over a hot drink and some cake.

Warm Space

The community centre also say that people with a “Welcome To Wakefield” card are welcome to a free tea of coffee. You can come and sit in their café and keep warm, choose a book from our book swap, play one of our board games, use the Wi-Fi etc without any obligation to use the café.

They are open 10am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
