The Art House
The Art House is both a Studio of Sanctuary and a Gallery of Sanctuary, and as such is especially welcoming to new visitors to Wakefield.
The front entrance on Drury Lane features a cafe.
To the rear on Mulberry way is the Sanctuary Studio unit S3.
Studio of Sanctuary Crochet, Crafts and Coffee
Studio of Sanctuary Crochet, Crafts and Coffee Morning is on Saturday 24th February 2024 from 11am – 1pm in the Garden Gallery (go in the main front door on Drury Lane) This will be Open to all Crochet lovers. Come along and share knowledge and skills – this is for Beginners and any people who may be curious about these traditional skills. All will be very welcome. Entrance is free and Refreshments are available at The Art House Café.

A Studio of Sanctuary
Mondays 1.30pm – 3pm – Volunteer Gardening with some Light gardening and learning about plants if the weather is good. During bad weather the group will look at which plants and herbs grow in this area and how the plants can be used.
Tuesdays 11am – 1pm – Skillshare. Peer to peer skill sharing, mainly, but not exclusively for women. Currently we are focusing on needle crafts such as knitting, crocheting and weaving.
Wednesdays 10am – 12pm – Embroidery. Sharing experiences and knowledge of traditional cultural embroidery from different countries.
Thursdays – 10am – 12pm – Our Creative Crafts group would love to welcome you. We practise a variety of crafts including machine sewing. There are limited spaces for the session so please ring or text Linda on 07311 283964 for information.
Tuesdays and Thursdays – Sublimation Printing. The opportunity to print a beautiful picture on a mug, t-shirt or slate. To book a session please ring or text Bryan on 07901 316310
All of our sessions take place either in Studio 3 on Mulberry Way, or the Learning Space on Drury Lane.
